Our Story
Buckhill Farm was established in the 1940’s when Raymond Daniel Buckwalter, better known as Bucky, purchased 200 plus acres just north of the Lancaster Airport. The farm is home to one of the first automated milking parlors in the country and served as a testing ground for New Holland Machineries. The farm has been family owned and managed for over 50 years and is still vibrant and thriving.
The farm currently consists of about 100 acres of tillable land, rolling hay fields and woodland. At the moment 10 of those tillable acres are strictly dedicated to our CSA program, where strict organic growing methods are applied. Buckhill Farm CSA is managed by husband and wife, Andrew and Coral. With the help of our family, friends and farm members, the farm continues to prosper.
